Glynn Thomas

Glynn Thomas was born in Cambridge in 1946.

He studied at Cambridge School of Art (1962-67) where he specialised in Illustration and Printmaking. Glynn now lives and works in East Anglia.

His hand-made prints depict villages, towns and cities through switching and changing perspectives. His intricate compositions capture the character and atmosphere of scenes from home and abroad. Glynn has illustrated a number of books and is well known for his hand-coloured etchings.

He has received awards and commissions including the Royal Society of Painter – Printmaker award for the best print, and was also commissioned by Christie's Contemporary Art.

His work is featured in numerous private and public collections throughout the U.K. including the Ashmolean, the Museum of London and Ipswich Collection.
