Janet Dickson
Janet Dickson studied BA(Hons) Graphic Design at Newcastle Polytechnic, now the University of Northumbria, graduating in 1984, after which she worked in graphic design practice before returning to Northumbria as a Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design. Her return to printmaking was a gradual but consistent process, until her move rural Northumberland where she now has her studio. After fifteen years teaching, she now makes prints and offers occasional workshops in her riverside studio.
Janet’s design background undoubtedly influences her work. She occasionally gets involved in a design or illustration project if the opportunity arises.
